Question:
I created my brochure in microsoft publisher. Can you print it?
Answer:
Yes, first you must convert it to an Adobe PDF. If you do not have adobe pdf writer, you may purchase it from Adobe. Also, download our PDF job option which will provided the best settings to create a pdf for digital press.

Question:
How do I install the daily digital job option? Why should I?
Answer:
Simply unzip the job option compressed file. Double Click on it. It will automatically install a preset to create pdfs from Adobe PDF Writer. When you print, save as or export a pdf using the Daily Digital Imaging preset, the settings are automatically set for our iGEN3 digital press. Especially if you have used transparencies, this is your safest bet.

Question:
I'm confused about where to set the bleed? Can't you just take care of it for me?
Answer:
Sure, we can extend your artwork into the bleeds at a reasonable rate. Contact us for an estimate. If you want to set it yourself, use InDesign's Page Set up options and set the bleed to .125." From Illustrator, make sure your document size is equal to the final document size. Extend your artwork beyond that at least .125." In Photoshop, make your document size .125" greater than your desired print size. The same goes for Word and Publisher, that is, create the document oversized but make sure your critical content is within the final trim size.

Question:
My picture looks great on screen but when I print it, it looks jaggedy. Can you fix it?
Answer:
Your best bet is to always purchase or take photos at at least 300 ppi (or greater). For example, if you are going to print a photo at 10" by 7", it is 300 ppi at that size. If the photo started at 150 ppi and was only 2" by 5", it will get jagged as it's enlarged. Photoshopping can clean it up a bit, but the clearest print comes from high resolution images. Ironically, a photo much greater than 300 ppi will lose sharpness and contrast, so try to keep it around 300-600 ppi.
